Take the role of Idate Kōhei, a former reconnaissance officer searching for his missing wife in Nagisa Village — an isolated community consumed by ritual, fanaticism and something ancient beneath the sea.
Black Omens: Shores of Ashen Tides is developed by Revo Interactive Studios, a division of Revotrend Sdn. Bhd., under licence to the wider Black Omens universe from Nimbus Games Sdn. Bhd.

04 / A covenant with the sea
Nagisa was once a prosperous fishing settlement isolated between steep cliffs and unforgiving water.
Generations came to believe their survival was not owed to nature, but to an ancient presence beneath the tides.
What began as gratitude became doctrine.
What became doctrine eventually demanded sacrifice.
06 / Bound by more than blood

A disciplined military scout whose strengths lie in observation, survival and battlefield judgement rather than overwhelming strength.
When Shunka disappears while investigating cult activity around Nagisa, Kōhei follows.
His training prepared him for human enemies.
Nagisa is something else.
Supporting protagonist / 立花 瞬花
Shunka is an experienced investigator with an unusual sensitivity to the thoughts and presence of others.
Her disappearance brings Kōhei to Nagisa, but her connection to the village runs deeper than either of them understands.
07 / You are not alone
They are not mindless fanatics. They are disciplined believers protecting rituals they believe are necessary for the survival of their community.
Generations offered to the sea do not always remain beneath it.
Victims of ritual sacrifice have returned from the sea corrupted.
Technology
Shores of Ashen Tides is built in Unreal Engine 5, supporting detailed environments, modern lighting, character animation and real-time effects.
Performance is being treated as a production requirement rather than a final optimisation pass.
Targeting RTX 2050-class minimum hardware, scalable graphics settings and up to 120 FPS on suitable high-end hardware. These are development targets, not final specifications.
Steam Deck compatibility is a development target.
Mouse & keyboard and full controller support are planned.
